Greetings and welcome to East Coweta High School, home of the Indians! I am thrilled you have decided to view our school’s website in order to learn more about the wonderful students, staff, and programs we have to offer.
This school year we will focus on three major goals: Safety, Student Achievement, and College/Career pathways. We believe success in these areas will benefit our students and families immensely.
Each of our kids is beautiful and more powerful beyond measure, and they deserve the best we have. It becomes our job to work as hard as possible to meet them, regardless of where they are academically, then close their gaps, respond to their socio-emotional and health needs, and ensure they are up to grade level. This is HARD work! But, we are willing, able and eager to meet this challenge.
As the proud principal of ECHS, I celebrate the teachers, staff, students and parents who continue to get better every year. The Coweta County School System supports and demands high standards and expectations for each student in regard to academic performance, co-curricular participation, and responsible citizenship.
It is with great pride that East Coweta High School holds these high standards and asks each of our stakeholders to commit to maintaining the extraordinary progress which East Coweta has made and will continue to make in the coming years.
As far as extra-curricular activities, we have lots of options for students. We offer a variety of clubs and sports. I look forward to seeing students connect to our school in ways that engage their interest - whether it be sports and activities, or academic programs and organizations, we want students to feel proud of our school and make their own stamp as they develop their LEGACY as an East Coweta Indian!
Please help us make a positive impact on our students' lives by participating in and supporting our school's programs. As one of the largest high schools in the state of Georgia, we take pride in the close connection we have with each and every student who walks our hallways. This is a direct extension of the Mission, Vision, and Belief statements developed by the Coweta County School System and East Coweta High School.
In conclusion, I am honored to serve as your principal of East Coweta High School and look forward to working with all stakeholders to help East Coweta be the best high school in the state.
